Power of AttorneyPower of Guardianship

Is it dangerous to give Power of Attorney or Guardianship to others?

Many people understand at least some of the purposes of a Power of Attorney, but have not even heard of a Power of Guardianship or “Living Will”.  Some know of both documents, but don’t think they need them or are simply afraid of giving power to others to act on their behalf, without really understanding how they work.

We believe EVERYONE over 18yo should have both powers in place – we see the problems caused by not having them.

When taking your instructions and advising you regarding Powers, we consider all your circumstances and tailor your documents for your personal situation.  We also build-in limits on the powers to help protect you and your assets  – this is sometimes governed by the number of close relatives/friends you have.

We will review your current Powers for you free of charge and suggest any changes if necessary.
